Water Conservation Week Contests

Contest Deadline: Friday, February 27, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.

How to Enter

Entries must be received or postmarked by Friday, February 27, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Entries may be submitted online, or dropped off or mailed. Each entry must be clearly labeled on the back, upper left corner with the student's full name, grade, school name and teacher's full name. If an entry is not clearly labeled, it will be disqualified. Typed labels are recommended. Submissions must include a completed entry form, whether as the printed entry form or as a printed copy of the acknowledgement email to complete an online submission (see below).

1. DROP-OFF INSTRUCTIONS

Entries will be accepted at the following locations during regular business hours through Friday, February 27, 2026:

Public Service Building (Parking)
630 South Beretania Street
Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

City & County of Honolulu
Satellite City Hall
(excluding Pearl Harbor/Hickam)

2. MAIL-IN INSTRUCTIONS

Entries may be mailed by Friday, February 27, 2026, to the following address:

Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the deadline to be considered.

3. ONLINE INSTRUCTIONS

Entries may be submitted online until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026. If submitting entries for multiple grades, complete a separate online entry form for each level. Up to 15 entries per grade level may be submitted per online entry form.

Poetry Contest

For the poetry contest, the teacher and student information, as well as each poetry entry, may be submitted online.

Entries must be labeled. See the rules and requirements. Each poem must be uploaded as a separate PDF document, with the entry label information placed in the upper left corner of the second (back) page in each file.

Poster Contest

Teacher and student information may be submitted online; the original artwork must be dropped off or postmarked by the deadline.

Entries must be labeled. See the rules and requirements. For your convenience, labels may be clipped from the email confirmation and affixed as instructed. Entries not clearly labeled will be disqualified.
