ʻEwa Watershed Management Plan (Public Review Draft)
The Board of Water Supply (BWS) and Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP), City and County of Honolulu, have begun the development of the ʻEwa Watershed Management Plan (EWMP), which will be used to meet the requirement of the State Water Code and City Ordinance to prepare a county water use and development plan. ʻEwa is one of eight district plans that together will comprise the Oʻahu Water Management Plan.

Goal
To formulate an environmentally holistic, community-based, and economically viable watershed management plan that will provide a balance between:
- the preservation and restoration of Oʻahu's watersheds, and
- sustainable ground water and surface water use and development to serve present users and future generations.
