BWS Urges Community Participation in Red Hill Awareness Survey
The Board of Water Supply encourages Hawai’i residents to take part in a short, anonymous survey being conducted by the Hawai’i Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) to better understand community awareness and concerns related to the 2021 Red Hill fuel spill and ongoing remediation efforts. The 10-minute survey will help inform future public education and outreach. Residents who were on the Navy water system at the time of the spill are especially encouraged to participate, even if they no longer live in the area. The survey is open through February 28 and can be accessed at https://RedHillSurvey.com.
