BWS and Partners Host Annual Imagine A Day Without Water Event at Windward Mall
HONOLULU — The Board of Water Supply (BWS), along with more than 20 city, state and community partners, invites the public to the 6th annual Imagine a Day Without Water event at Windward Mall’s Center Court. 
Event details:
- Date: Saturday, Sept. 20
- Time: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Location: Windward Mall’s Center Court
“Each year, we bring this event to a different part of Oʻahu so communities can see the vital role water plays in our lives,” said BWS Manager and Chief Engineer Ernie Lau. “It’s also a chance to explore the One Water concept — how potable water, recycled water, stormwater and wastewater are all connected.”
This free, family-friendly event will feature:
- Interactive booths hosted by more than 20 city, state, and community organizations
- Hands-on keiki activities and educational games
- Rain barrel catchment workshop
- Prize giveaways, including a 45-gallon rain barrel and more.
In the parking lot near the food trucks, don’t miss:
- Recycling Challenge — drop off empty bottles and cans in the Bottles 4 College bin to support local recycling efforts.
- Honolulu Fire Department fire truck display
