Pālolo Water System Improvements
HONOLULU – RMY Construction, Inc., the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for the Pālolo Water System Improvements, Part III project is scheduled to begin work after September 2, 2025. The renewal of the water system will improve water service reliability and fire protection for customers in the area.
The project will install approximately 1,410 feet of 16-inch water mains, 7,000 feet of 12-inch water mains, 3,470 feet of 8-inch water mains, and 30 feet of 4-inch water mains in the following areas: 
• Kaʻululoa Place
• Kaalani Place
• Pālolo Avenue from Kiwila Street to Pālolo Place
• 10th Avenue from Pālolo Place to Waiʻōmaʻo Road
• Pālolo Place
• 10th Avenue Place
• Makanui Place
• Holomua Place
• Waiʻōmaʻo Road
Working hours for the project will occur Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will involve lane closures at various locations throughout the work area. Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays. Based on the current schedule, this project will be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
