Kapolei Water Service Laterals Replacements Project

HONOLULU – Integrated Construction, Inc., the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for a project to replace 146 water service laterals for customers in Kapolei is scheduled to begin work on or after April 1, 2025. Service laterals are the pipes that connect the water main under the street to the water meters serving each home. 

This project will improve water service reliability for residents in the following areas:

• ʻUlakupu Street
• Kaunuʻoaʻula Street
• Pilipiliʻula Place
• Wiliwilihele Place
• ʻOwakalena Street
• Koanimakani Street
• Hoanāulu Place
• Koanimakani Place
• Waikōloa Place
• Kuipuakukui Street
• Leimaʻo Place
• Puamaʻomaʻo Place
• Puanohu Place

Road work will occur Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will involve lane closures at various locations throughout the work area. Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays during construction hours. Based on the current schedule, this project will be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
