Water System Improvements on Moanalua Road
HONOLULU – Island Construction and Demolition, LLC, the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for the Moanalua Road 8-Inch Main project is scheduled to begin work on after June 3, 2024. The renewal of the water system will improve water service reliability and fire protection for customers in the area.
The project will install approximately 580 feet of 8-inch water mains along Moanalua Road from fire hydrant L00646 (fronting Waimalu Elementary School) to Ka‘ahele Street.
Working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will involve lane closures at various locations throughout the work area. Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays. Based on the current schedule, this project will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024.
