HONOLULU BOARD OF WATER SUPPLY ENDS WATER CONSERVATION REQUEST DUE TO HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC ROLLING OUTAGES

BWS thanks customers for their cooperation that helped reduce its electrical demand

HONOLULU – The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is ending its water conservation request to customers from the Leeward Coast up to Mililani and through Kahala.  Customers may return to their normal water usage.  The BWS thanks customers in these areas for their cooperation and understanding.

The request helped the BWS to reduce its water demand, which helped Hawaiian Electric avoid rolling outages due to an electrical plant shutdown.
