Board of Water Supply Increases Rebate on WaterSense Toilets for a Limited Time
HONOLULU – The Honolulu Board of Water Supply (BWS) is offering a special, limited-time $100 toilet rebate starting January 19, 2024, through April 18, 2024. Customers who replace outdated, inefficient toilets with an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) WaterSense labeled model (1.28 gallons per flush or less) will now be eligible to receive the rebate.
The special offer will be available for only 90 days.
"Low flow toilets will help to preserve our water resources and allow customers to see long-term savings on their water bill" said Ernest Lau, BWS Manager and Chief Engineer.
The EPA estimates that 30 percent of an average home's indoor water use comes from toilets. Replacing your toilet with an EPA WaterSense labeled model can reduce water use for toilets by 20 to 60 percent.
To be eligible, BWS customers must provide a proof of purchase receipt. These special rebates are limited to 4 per household and 10 for commercial customers.
Find out more about this special rebate offer at www.boardofwatersupply.com/rebates or stop by the BWS booth during the BIA BIG Home Building and Remolding Show, January 19, 20, and 21, at the Blaisdell Arena.
