Update to Energy Savings Project
Energy Savings Performance Contact: As required by Section 106 of the Federal Historic Preservation Act, the BWS consulted with Native Hawaiian Organizations (NHOs) listed in the Department of Interior NHO Notification List and other members of the public. Project information and request for historic preservation comments were sent to NHO's in April and June 2016.

Energy Savings Performance Contract: Announcement - The Honolulu Board of Water Supply (BWS) has entered into a $33 million Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) with NORESCO LLC that allows the water agency to implement comprehensive energy efficiency, renewable energy generation, and operational improvements which guarantee enough energy savings over the next 20 years to pay for the contract.
