Imagine A Day Without Water
Imagine A Day Without Water is part of the Value of Water campaign from the U.S. Water Alliance. It's an annual national education initiative that highlights the critical, often invisible, role water infrastructure plays in daily life, challenging individuals and communities to visualize life without taps, showers, toilets, or fire protection.
Oʻahu Imagine A Day Without Water
On Oʻahu, the Imagine A Day Without Water event is held in different location each year to give more island residents the opportunity to join us and learn about the value of water and the One Water concept.
Each year, government and community groups partner to provide hands-on fun and education – from rain barrel workshops to xeriscape crafts – for our communities and to highlight the One Water concept, showing how all water is connected and must be managed together.

Imagine A Day Without Water
Mahalo to everyone who joined us at Windward Mall on September 20, 2025, for the Board of Water Supply's Imagine a Day Without Water event! Over 15 city, state, and community booths offered hands-on activities, including a rain barrel display, Xeriscape crafts, and succulent workshops.
