Kalawahine 24-Inch Water Main Project
PROJECT OVERVIEW
- FV Coluccion Construction Company, Inc, the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for the Kalawahine 24-inch Water Main project is working to install approximately 4,900 feet of new 24-inch water mains along the following areas:
- Pensacola Street from Kinau Street to Nehoa Street
- Auwaiolimu Street from Nehoa Street to Anianiku Street
- Anianiku Street from Auwaiolimu Street to Fire Hydrant M02678
- Current work area: Pensacola Street from Kinau Street to Nehoa Street, and Auwaiolimu Street from Nehoa Street to Anianiku Street.
*In accordance with the City's annual Construction Holiday Travel Lane Closure Restrictions, planned road work for the project will be on hold from December 19, 2025 to January 1, 2026. - The construction of this 24-inch water main is a necessary to create water system redundancy, improve performance and reliability. It will also assist in meeting domestic fire protection needs.
- Weather permitting working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., except for observed state holidays.

This project will involve traffic modifications and lane closures along the work site. When the project begins road users are advised to obey all traffic controls, posted signs, and special duty officers.
